The leaves, the sweaters and the hot drinks are all making their way back and I couldn’t be more excited. Autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons and I had so much fun with this challenge. I tried to really capture the essence of fall.
This photo was taking in on a crisp, autumn morning. The class wandered around enjoying the tremendous opportunities to take amazing photos. I walked around in the cold and picked up one bright, orange leaf. My goal was to take close up shots and really experiment with aperture. With this picture I used a shallow depth of field to really focus on the colour and away from excess background. I really love how this turned out. It has a simple clarity and the bark gives it a nice rustic feel.
As I took photos I did my best to attempt to capture a story of the turning of the seasons. I hope you guys all had fun taking these photos and found a story behind your pictures.
