Simply getting closer to the ground gives you a very different perspective in life....
It was great experimenting with this weeks challenge. As I looked below me to find interesting subjects I notices small details that you typical don't see by a quick glance. I took this chance to take photos like a write. When I write I feel and pretend to be the character. In this challenge I also took on a different character, you were meant to feel small looking at things close to the ground.
As I noticed these small details I used them to provide a meaningful subject. In this photo the dew drops on the tiny clover struck me. I gently placed it on a rock-like object. The texture in the gravel also had small, intricate details. The small bits of orange pine needles also added a more natural look to the photo. I picked a small F-stop for this photo to give me a narrow depth of field. In the end I was left with this nice finish focused solely on the plant. I love how the pictures turned out this week. I can see improvement in my photography!
