You look down a long. winding road and it seems to go on forever; never ending. Its leading you in and that simple line holds amazing beauty.
Experimenting with lines really taught me how important they can be when composing a picture. That simple line creates a solid path, not one that you walk on but a path for your eyes. it brings you in and directs you straight to the subject or focus. Lines add a sense of depth to the photo, they are way to display a three dimensional scene on a two dimensional medium. I also noticed that sometimes the line itself has so many intricate details and meaning that it makes a great subject itself. In this picture I was trying to freeze a moment in time. A young boy playing on a playground. Simple yet precious. I really did freeze the moment, literally, the November weather had been especially cold this day. Cold fingers or not I was able to capture an amazing picture that I am proud of. I also learned a lot about adjusting to light and the environment around you as well a a thing or two about patterns and lines.
